God’s Message About Your Waiting Season

· 3 min read
✝

Waiting is one of the hardest parts of faith. You have prayed, you believe God hears you, and yet the answer has not arrived. Days become months. Sometimes months become years. If you are in a waiting season right now, this message is for you.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

The Message

My child, I have not forgotten what you asked Me for. Every prayer you prayed is still before Me. Waiting does not mean I said no. It does not mean I am not listening.

Waiting is not wasted time in My hands. While you wait, I am building something in you that the answer alone could never build: trust, depth, endurance, a faith that does not depend on getting what you want when you want it.

You are tired, I know. But those who wait on Me do not stay tired. I renew. I lift. I give wings to people who thought they could not walk another step.

Do not fill the waiting with worry. Fill it with Me. Talk to Me. Rest in Me. Keep doing the next faithful thing in front of you.

When the answer comes, you will understand why it came when it did. My timing is not slow; it is precise. Wait with Me a little longer.

What This Verse Means for You Today

The Hebrew word often translated “wait” in Isaiah 40:31 carries the idea of hopeful expectation, like a rope being twisted and strengthened. Waiting on the Lord is not passive. It is active trust.

Notice the progression: mount up, run, walk. Sometimes God lifts you high. Sometimes He gives strength to run. And sometimes, in the hardest seasons, the miracle is simply that you keep walking without fainting. Every one of those is His strength at work.

A Prayer for Today

Father, I am tired of waiting. You know what I have been asking for. Help me trust Your timing more than my own. Renew my strength while I wait. Teach me to wait with hope, not worry. Thank You that You have not forgotten me. Amen.
